CHANEL Rouge Coco Review

Chanel Rouge Coco has a new formula for more hydration all day long, plus the combination of three vegetable waxes mimosa, jojoba, and sunflower ensures immediate hydration and lasting comfort.

It comes with a silicone wax that delivers a new sensory experience being softer and more melt-away, gliding on more easily for an immediate sensation of fusion with the lips.

They added to this lipstick a new polymer film and silicone microbeads to encourage lasting hold and boosted shine.

According to Elle Magazine, Chanel Rouge’s formula is “the perfect combination of plant butter and oils that instantly melt onto lips, providing both comfort and remarkable shine. Infused within the lipstick, the Hydra boost complex, composed of nourishing oils (jojoba, mimosa, and sunflower), offers immediate hydration that lasts for up to 8 hours after application. Lips are saturated in a lightweight, silky coat of color.

CHANEL Rouge Coco 416

There are a lot of beautiful deep colors available that you can choose from, being precisely 28. The thing is that they are very similar yet different. Trying to cover all of us desires, Chanel offers us a broad palette of nuances of this lovely rouge.

Even if it was difficult, now I can say which one of these is my favorite, and that’s Carmen 466. I love that pure red, the one without any violet, orange, or pink nuance.

I believe this complement any skin tone, hair, or eyes color, and definitely, every woman needs a red lipstick. Chanel Rouge Coco represents the pure red, so no secret about the fact that it fits perfectly any kind of complexion, eyes, hair, or style. The sheer shades embody, impersonate, and reflect blazing love, passion, fury, and all emotions associated with it.

History Time

Even the history taught us that a pure-color lipstick can be worn, also if you have dark or white skin, any type of hair color or eyes. It has been made to look perfect on every woman, and we are thankful to the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra for that.

Back to 3000, in the ancient worlds of Mesopotamia and Rome, ancient beauty gurus would combine sediments of red ochre, carmine, and various waxes to add color to their cheeks and pouts. The most familiar red lip-donner in the ancient world was one of the first icons of beauty to ever grace our past: Cleopatra, of course. Red lipstick became an instant symbol of regality thanks to Cleo, and this is likely how the notion of “red pigment equals power” developed, according to Marie Claire.

I am brave enough to bet this lipstick won’t disappoint if you are looking for hydration all day long. Due to its properties, as mimosa waxes, jojoba, and sunflower oils, this lipstick it’s really hydrating, and you don’t even feel when you wear it, just go into the very pores of your lips, giving them so much comfort.

This particular lipstick is not aromatized, therefore it is as well suitable for all those who prefer odorless products.

Long-Lasting is a goal of Chanel Rouge, and it really doesn’t come off immediately with every sip, bite, or kiss. It does need a touch up once in a few hours, between three and five hours, from my personal experience.

Its formula glides on and stays on your lips without feathering or transferring if you won’t be touching your lips with anything, but this is quite difficult, so assume it will need some touch-ups from time to time.
